The New Chelsea 2012/2013 Home Shirt Revealed?

There are two designs going around the internet at the moment of what is rumoured to be Chelsea’s new home shirt for next season.

Having found these pictures on the @OfficialCFCnet twitter and on the EPLtalk website, I have a clear favourite which is the one above.

This new shirt version shows it to be a similar shade of blue as our current shirt with a light diagonal striping effect, the notable item is the red and white cuffs on the shirt which add a little extra style to the shirt and remind me of our 1993/1994 home kit.

There is no evidence that this will be our kit as these are leaked photos which we have no corroborating sources for, however we all know that the megastore is capable of making mistakes (remember Robinho) so a leak is by no means out of the question.

The other design that EPLTalk have featured is below and a little crass for my taste, however should it be our kit I am sure I will learn to like it, just like I did the horrible orange and grey number we had so many moons ago.

Do you prefer the CFCnet picture of the EPLtalk featured picture? I really hope that the CFCnet picture is the new one, it looks great.

eChelseaFC’s Favourite Chelsea Shirt’s of All Time

Chelsea have had over a hundred different shirt designs in our history, but which one is your favourite? 

Could it be the iconic 97 away shirt ala, Zola and Vialli, the Commodore vintages of Wise, Peacock or even the Championship winning shirts of 1955, 2005 or 2006 or 2010?

The eChelseaFC favourite shirts both come from the same year 1997, with the club winning the FA Cup for the first time in 27 years they did it looking stylish in two of the most iconic Chelsea shirts in my time at the club.
