Ticket Guide

Whilst for members and season ticket holders buying a Chelsea ticket is second nature, buying your first Chelsea tickets can be daunting.
In the last decade it has become impossible to buy a Chelsea ticket on the day, with tickets only available to members and selling out weeks before the match.
Hopefully this quick guide will help you should you be planning a trip to Stamford Bridge.
Plan in Advance – Buy a Membership
If you are planning a trip to the Bridge then you need to plan ahead and I would recommend buying a membership and joining your local supporters club.
Your local supporters club may have access to exclusive tickets and provide useful travel information for your journey, whilst a membership gives you a chance at buying a ticket legally through the club when tickets go on sale four weeks before a match day.
Tickets can be bought online and around 80% of matches go on sale to members on a first come first serve basis meaning that with prior planning you should be able to get a ticket for one of these games.
BUT….. where demand for tickets are high such as the latter stages of cup competitions or league games against teams like Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool then tickets are sold to members on a loyalty point system. This system gives fans that go regularly priority when buying tickets.
You can find out when tickets go on sale and any restrictions here
NON MEMBERS
If you do not have a membership or enough loyalty points your options to get a ticket legally limited but there are some potential alternatives.
The clubs travel agent Thomas Cook run special promotions that offer match tickets and a stay at the club’s 4 star hotel. Again a little pricy but the packages guarantee a match ticket.
These are the main legal ways, it is possible to attempt to use online ticket agencies and street touts/scalpers however this is illegal and you may end up paying alot of money and still being denied entry to Stamford Bridge.
Available to Chelsea members only this service is used by season ticket holders who cannot to sell their season ticket seat for a particular game and recoup some of the money.
These tickets are generally 4 or 5 times more expensive than a normal seat but include hospitality that may include meeting a former player or a meal. These tickets can be purchased from the following section of the Chelsea website
