Time Up For Florent Malouda At Chelsea?
Florent Malouda has shown in recent months why the doubters are finally right and he should leave Chelsea during the next transfer window.
This season he has been part of my main complaint of the team in that we lack pace, the willingness to take players on and a cutting edge.
He is the master of getting into promising positions and slowing the ball down or turning his back to goal with the ball at his feet and just one man to beat for the clear air behind the defender.
However after supporting him through his sometimes erratic form during his time at Chelsea it has looked in the last few months as if his heart is not at Chelsea anymore and he is not 100% committed, therefore my support for him to play is also waning.
He is not helped admittedly by AVB who angered most Chelsea fans when bringing on Romeu for Sturridge instead of the ineffective Malouda against Manchester United.
Sadly AVB seems to have faith in him and the cupboard is quite bare at the moment, but I am firm in my belief that despite his highlights that his time at Chelsea is coming to an end.
If you cant be bothered Florent, neither can I.

Patrick Bamford Chelsea Welcome Video
With just 12 minutes senior football experience there is not much I can show you or tell you about Patrick Bamford apart from he has been bought for £1.5m with a look to the future.
I did however find this cracking goal from youth team level

Chelsea Unlikely To Buy On Deadline Day
It looks like we will not be joining the January 2012 transfer window scramble to buy players on the last day of the window.
There is talk of us signing an 18 year old from Nottingham Forest in the form of Jason Bamford but apart from anything that has yet to hit the gossip columns, there appears to be little prospect of any other activity in the window.
This means that those demanding a spending splurge will need to be patient until the summer.
With deals for Cahill and De Bruyne we have had a productive if not blockbuster transfer window that should have long term benefits.
Part of me is a little bit disappointed, however having only spent around £15m for two or maybe three players we have resisted the urge to be mugged this window.
As for the deadline day, I dislike the transfer system and the endless rumours, but love the suspense and randomness of deadline day, where suddenly deals are pieced together out of thin air with just minutes left on the transfer clock.
Alas this year I am going to be disappointed and occupied with the game against Swansea instead.

Who Is Chelsea Target Willian?
The last few days have seen rumours that we are trying to sign Brazilian international midfielder Willian Borges Da Silva or simply Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk.
There are reports that we have had a €20m bit rejected for him with Shaktar openly declaring they will accept a bid of €30m a full €5m below the players buyout clause as the player has a desire to further his career elsewhere.
I will confess I do not watch a great deal of Ukranian football, however with such a high release clause it is clear that Shaktar rate him quite highly.
Aged just 23 he had a big 2011, featuring in the Champions League and making his Brazil debut all within the space of a few months.
He can play in a central playmaker role or on the wing as he has done for Donestk this year, a quality that could explain his appeal to AVB and the board.
Whether we decide to put up the €30m that we reportedly need to secure is signature is a question that I guess will be resolved within the next week.
Below is the arbitrary highly edited YouTube video of his Big Brother style best bits.

Jan 2012 Transfer Window – Should We Buy Kevin De Bruyne?
It is being reported that we are in discussions with RC Genk for the purchase of 20 year old winger Kevin De Bruyne with the potential that we may sign him and immediately loan him back to the Belgian club.

Although he is not the finished article and would need encouragement to develop I can say that having watched him play against us twice this season there is definitely a spark about the young Belgian and he could make a useful addition to our squad.
He is a quick and pacy winger who is not afraid to take people on with the exuberance of youth to try things and make his mark on games, something that we lack within our current squad.
Before we can decide if he is a good value signing we will need to know the price it will take to lure him from RC Genk.
He is not yet the finished article and we do not want overpay for someone who has yet to prove himself in a tough, physical league.
The interesting part of this transfer rumour is the ideaof loaning him back to Genk. Which I like as it would allow him to finish the season playing regularly for Genk and gaining experience whilst ensuring we are not gazumped for him at a later date.
A player we should definitely be interested in, only time will tell if the price is right for AVB and Chelsea!
