Juan Mata On His First Six Months At Chelsea – Video Clip

Juan Mata has had a fantastic impact for Chelsea since joining from Valencia in the summer, he has scored some fantastic goals and been one of the few creative sparks we have had in a difficult season so far.

One of the aspects that can be difficult for any player is adapting to a new environment. Through the mediums of YouTube and Twitter Juan Mata has allayed any fears that he may be struggling to settle in with a video to his fans in Spain documenting his life in England.

Whilst there are some obviously stereotypical questions and answers in what is hardly a controversial or probing interview. It is great to see a professional footballer communicating with his fans so openly.

This is fantastic PR for such little effort, lets hope that other players follow in his footsteps.

Cahill Copies Luiz With A Strikers Goal v Holland (Video)

This week there is no Chelsea action to show you this week I thought we would focus on Gary Cahill taking a leaf out of the David Luiz defensive manual and scoring a goal worthy of a striker.

Therefore our friday video is Gary Cahill’s goal against Holland, even if Chelea did go onto lose.

Chelsea Reserves In Goalscoring Form!

With the result during the week for the youth team, the optimism about our young players is flying high, therefore I thought I would treat you to another video of our youngsters in action.

This video is from an action packed game against Gillingham reserves and features Patrick Bamford, Jacob Mellis and a host of talent in action.

Although this video is a week old, it is worthy of inclusion based on the action, particularly as it has new signing Patrick Bamford in fine goalscoring form and shows our younger players in full flow.

Youth Team Face Forest Tonight In FA Youth Cup

Tonight Chelsea’s youth team travel to Nottingham to play Nottingham Forest in the FA Youth Cup.

CFC_Kris will be there tonight casting his eye over our brightest youth talents some of whom such as Lucas Piazon, Jamal Blackman and Nathaniel Chalobah have warmed the bench at the senior level.

Although a victory will not allow us to forget the poor fortunes of the senior team, it would come as a welcome positive note in what feel like dark times.

One player that will not be playing tonight is Patrick Bamford who has scored 11 times in four games in this competition so far this season but is cup-tied having made a deadline day move to Stamford Bridge last month.

So far this season the youth team have had some bruising encounters in the cup, overcoming Norwich and West Ham after penalty shoot outs, something that the first team could definitely learn from.

Youth Cup History

We have some pedigree in this competition, having won it in 2010 with players such as Jeffrey Bruma, Josh McEachran and Milan Lalkovic starring.

I am hoping that this year history will repeat itself and the omens are good, when we won two years ago we overcame Nottingham Forest on the same ground on the way to the final.

The stand out moment of that tie was a Conor Clifford wonder goal that I was lucky enough to capture on video from the stand.

Friday Video – John Terry Tribute

Tommorow is another tough day for John Terry as he returns to Loftus Road for the first time since the Anton Ferdinand saga started. I choose to focus on what he has done on the pitch for us, so to show FamousCFC.com’s support he is the feature for our Friday video.

Enjoy this John Terry tribute
