Fernando Torres Suspension Ends!
Fernando Torres returns from suspension against Arsenal having completed his three match ban for a lunatic tackle against an unimportant man from Swansea.
This is a huge plus as over the last few months the Spaniard has shown signs he is returning to his best, looking hungry and sharp in the pursuit of goals.
In a bizarrely effective rotation policy the suspension of Didier Drogba following his own copycat lunacy against QPR means that Torres is likely to start against the Gunners partnered by
His last outing was a man of the match performance against Genk and I am hoping to see the same movement and killer instinct he showed then.

Chelsea v Arsenal Preview
With the events of the last week it seems almost easy to forget that tomorrow we play Arsenal for the first time this season.
Despite being overshadowed during the week, full focus turns to the fixture at Stamford Bridge as we look to get back on the right track following a frustrating trip to Loftus Road.
Third in the league we are still very much in the hunt for the title which is more than can be said for Arsenal who have had a delightfully awful start to the season, this fixture will be a great opportunity to pour further misery on Arsene Wenger.
With Arsenal low on confidence I think a good start and early goal enough to put us in firm control and in a position to see of the Gunners and keep the pressure on the Manchester clubs.
The major dissapointment though is the time the match starts, an early kick off means my blood alchohol levels will be dangerously low during the game, this may improve the quality of my half time game analysis but does little to boost the economy in this time of recession.
It should be a great game and I look forward to seeing Ben and the Fancast boys after the game.

CPO Buyout Fails Brings Relief not Joy
Yesterday at around 3pm it was announced that the clubs proposal to buy the Stamford Bridge freehold from the Chelsea Pitch Owners had not been successful.
In the build up to the announcement I was more nervous than I think I have been in years and despite the good news, my reaction was not one of victory but relief.
Despite defeating the proposal I had always felt that the no campaign was not about winning but getting answers and a piece of good news could not mask the issues that a lack of consultation and contempt from the club had created.
I found the whole process quite distressing as the campaign became bitter as it emerged it would be close, creating unwanted divisions between some of our most loyal fans and the club, divisions that could have been avoided.
With a bitter campaign over and still no firm resolution on developing the club in sight, I feel that no one side can claim victory; to quote Churchill ‘we are at the ‘end of the beginning’. This process could be quite long and hopefully the tone and progress of plans will now be more open and conciliatory.
As we move forward we must remember that whatever our views on the CPO buyout we are all Chelsea fans and we all have the best interests of the club at heart, so we mustdraw a line under the vote and work together to shape the clubs future.
Win or Lose, Up the Blues
